In this rendering, I was attracted to the crystal blue eyes of this weary mother sow. With her six young piglets in tow, she followed me back and forth along a farmer's fence looking for a little escape. At one point she paused, looking up at me with that maternal sparkle in her eye and in that moment it seemed she knew I understood.
