A familiar and welcomed sight in Lancaster County is the Amish culture. In this rendering, three young boys patiently wait for their shopping parents as they enjoy the simple delight of homemade ice cream at the Green Dragon, a local farmer's market attraction. The obvious camaraderie of the three seem to set them apart in the midst of the ordinary, on a warm Friday summer's eve. Almost no color was needed to capture the emotion, expression and culture of the subjects.
